Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Juton LLC ("OrbTop", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the website located at orbtop.com and its subdomains (the "Website"). By using the Website, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Scope

This policy covers the orbtop.com Website (the "Website") and the products and services we offer through it. It does not cover the data-extraction tools ("Actors") we publish on Apify, which run on Apify's platform and are subject to Apify's own Privacy Policy. At present the Website does not offer user accounts, and most visitors can browse it without providing personal information. As we add features such as user accounts, event registration, or other tools, we will update this policy to describe any additional information we collect and how we use it.

2. Information We Collect

You can currently browse the Website without creating an account or providing personal details. We collect only limited information automatically:

  • Usage and analytics data — pages you view, the referring page, approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and browser information. This is collected through our analytics provider (see below).
  • Cookies and local storage — small identifiers set by our analytics provider to distinguish repeat visits and measure site usage.
  • Device and browser signals — technical characteristics of the browser and device rendering the page, collected to tell automated traffic apart from human visitors. See "Automated-Traffic Detection" below.

We do not currently collect your name, email address, or payment information through the Website.

3. Analytics and Cookies

We currently use PostHog (PostHog, Inc.) as our product-analytics provider to understand how visitors use the Website and to improve it. PostHog sets cookies or uses local storage and processes data such as page views, referrer, approximate location, and device type on servers located in the United States.

You can limit this collection by:

  • enabling your browser's "Do Not Track" setting;
  • blocking or clearing cookies for orbtop.com; or
  • using a browser or extension that blocks analytics scripts.

We do not use analytics to serve advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Automated-Traffic Detection

A large share of traffic to any website is automated rather than human. On pages of the Website we run a small script that reads technical characteristics of the browser and device presenting the page, so that we can distinguish automated visitors from real ones. This work also informs the data-extraction products we build.

These characteristics describe the software and hardware, not you personally. They may include display and rendering capabilities, hardware and performance characteristics, browser and operating-system configuration, language and time-zone settings, supported media formats, the address of the page visited, and indicators of whether a page is being operated by a person or driven by automation software. The particular characteristics we read change over time as detection methods and evasion techniques evolve.

Whatever the specifics, the following always hold:

  • Each page load produces a single, self-contained sample tagged with a randomly generated identifier. We do not link samples to one another, build a persistent profile of you across visits, or connect them to any account — the Website has no accounts.
  • We do not use these signals to serve advertising, to price differently, to track you across other websites, or to identify you personally.
  • Samples are processed by the analytics provider described above, on servers in the United States.

Where required by law (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR), our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and securing traffic to the Website and in improving our products. You can prevent this collection with any browser or extension that blocks scripts, or by blocking scripts from orbtop.com.

5. How We Use Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

  • measure and understand Website traffic and usage patterns;
  • distinguish automated traffic from human visitors, and improve the data-extraction products we build;
  • maintain, secure, and improve the Website; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

Where required by law (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR), our legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Website.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf, such as our analytics provider (PostHog) and our hosting and content-delivery providers; and
  • Authorities or third parties where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

7. International Transfers

Our analytics and infrastructure providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where such transfers are subject to data-protection laws, we rely on the providers' safeguards and applicable transfer mechanisms.

8. Data Retention

We retain analytics data only for as long as necessary to understand and improve Website usage, after which it is aggregated or deleted in accordance with our analytics provider's retention settings.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal information relating to you, and to object to certain processing. Because the Website collects only limited, largely anonymized analytics data, we may need additional information to identify records associated with you. To exercise any right, contact us at the address below. We do not sell personal information, so no "opt out of sale" is required.

10. Children's Privacy

The Website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Products and Links

Actors you run on Apify, and any third-party websites linked from the Website, are governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of Apify or any other third party.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.

13. Contact
